Selling my Chronomat. This is the last of the original Chronomats and what I think the true design of the Chronomat was meant to be.
This is the last model to have the 38mm diameter with the straight case which had the bracelet curve as the lugs would on a conventional watch. Made in a short run, these were made between 2000 and 2004, as Breitling was beginning to make only Chronometer grade watches.
This example is super minty for its age. The original owner kept it in a drawer and only wore it about 7 times. I purchased it about 3 years ago and had it serviced in July 2 years ago by Otto Freidl here in Vancouver WITHOUT polishing. The receipt of service comes with the purchase.
Only issue is on the thin polished inner bezel there are some marks. I never had this altered when serviced as it doesn't bother me and I wanted to leave the watch in unpolished condition.
The watch comes on an OEM 2-tone bracelet which is missing 1 link and also comes with the original all stainless bracelet with all links. The purchaser of this watch can opt for whichever bracelet (or both) he/she likes.
This has a matte blue dial and one of the most incredibly eye-catching, attention to detail designs I have ever seen on a watch.
There is no fading to any of the gold and there are no screws or pieces missing. Comes with the box and all papers, It looks stunning! I give it a conservative 90%
I was looking for one of these in nice condition for a while and now am only selling it as I find it a little too dressy for the clothes I wear. The new owner will not be disappointed.
Price is $4000 for everything or choice of one bracelet for $3500 which includes shipping.
Lots of references available. Let me know if you have any questions
