I'm sad to put this one up for sale but as it happens to most of you, i have an itch for another watch that i can't seem to scratch enough and it won't go away. So up for sale is my Breitling Navitimer Olympus. This is an amazing watch and is just stunning. The watch comes withouth box and papers but was just overhauled by Breitling last month. The watch has always kept very good time but it was a 2004 model that was never serviced so i decided to have it serviced. With a movement of this caliber (4 year calendar) i took no chance and sent it directly to Breitling. The cost was hefty and i will eat some of it in the sale for sure.
Included with the watch is the new Breitling travel case, the invoice from the overhaul (1 year Breitling warranty), Breitling cloth. The watch keeps amazing time at about -0.5 sec/day. The moonphase is just amazing. To note, i told Breitling not to polish the caseback. It's intact and all information, including model number and serial number are clearly visible.
I can sell the watch without the bracelet but not without the Croc strap (model 740p) and original deployant clasp. In the sale, i'm taking into account it comes without box and papers but also that it's a watch that was just overhauled and under warranty. I'm obviously taking a hit on the servicing.
This watch doesn't come often but last model on strap went for about 4200 USD (in need of service and not serviced for more than 10 years) and 5000 usd on bracelet (not serviced either).
I'm asking 6100 CAD for the watch with the Brown Croc Strap on deployant (strap about 85% +, deployant like new).
I'm asking for 7150 CAD for the watch with both the strap and Navitimer Bracelet (all links, like new) MSRP on bracelet is 1620 USD (about 2100 CAD).
This watch is a pristine exemple, gorgeous, 4 year calendar. I rate it mint, 95%, not dings or scratches anywhere. Crystal is perfect, very small hairline on the exterior AR, it's impossible to take a picture of it and i really can't see it until i really look for it at certain light angles.
I have reference on here as a buyer and on BreitlingSource.com as a buyer and seller (same username). I hope to keep this watch in Canada and i'm going to keep it exclusively on CWC for a few weeks. Ask me any questions . Now the pictures.
