The Navitimer is currently with my watchmaker undergoing a complete service. While it was functioning very well, I wanted to make sure that there are no issues encountered by the new owner who will have a freshly-serviced movement to rely upon. Given the cost of service, the asking price indicated in the original post will now be firm rather than negotiable.

Finally returned from my watchmaker, having undergone a movement overhaul costing $350. Clean bill of health and ready for a new home.:)

Just to see the deal this is, check out the same model (including the same Valjoux 7750 base movement) at Jomashop, costing the Cdn. equivalent of $5,500 plus import taxes and fees of $1,045, for a total of approx $6,500 landed. And that's on leather, not on an OEM Breitling Milanese bracelet which alone will run you over $1K Cdn. https://www.jomashop.com/breitling-watch-a13324121b1p1.html

Of course mine shows minor signs of aging and you get no warranty, but the aging adds charm and these movements are bulletproof and inexpensively serviced by any competent watchmaker on occasions when service is required. Mine was just returned from an overhaul to increase prospects for continued trouble-free wearing by the new owner.
