Ok... client just picked up a new Breitling from me today, and dropped me off this blue Skyracer to send out to Breitling for service. I noticed a WTB for this model so offered it to him before shipping out. Sadly, not the model he was looking for, but I decided then to post this:
Beautiful Blue Dial Skyracer. Sold new by me to this client. Sold on bracelet, and then client subsequently purchased an Ocean Racer Rubber on deployment... (will fit up to maybe 8" or a touch less).
$2550. This buys you the watch... box and papers and bracelet and strap, but then you need to send it to Breitling for a service... or to your local watchmaker if you prefer.
Watch has stopped.
Good news is that Breitling could fix it and make it look new and usually take 4 weeks or less turnaround. If you are in the GTA even better as you can drop it off and pick it up.
Just a stab in the dark...
Photos are lousy... not up to my usual standards as this is a one-off experiment, and client did not bring the boxset with him. He was not thinking of selling, and is ok to keep it if this doesn't work.
Watch is used but not abused. It needs a good polish... mostly morthern lug ends. Could easily be worn as is.
The strap set is worth 400-$500... so quite a deal... If it is for you. They sure don't make them like this anymore.
Please advise asap as this ad may disappear.
