Hi CWC!
Up for sale is a one-of-a-kind Orient Mako II. I am developing some mad modding skills, and this is one of my creations!
I actually ordered a top hat Sapphire crystal from Crystaltimes for my Samurai mod, but got my reference #s wrong. It was cheaper to keep the crystal than send it back... so began my new build.
I noted that this sapphire fits the Mako II, so I ordered a used one from ebay. The bezel had a scrape, and this annoys me to no end, so naturally I had to replace the bezel and insert with a coin edge + stealth black ceramic 12 hour from DLW. The strap that it came on was garbage, so it was off to Strapcode for me to order a solid O Boyer bracelet.
I must say, this is an amazing Mod. The blue dial really pops and the sapphire gives it a cool distortion at certain angles.
Case has swirls on sides, but is in decent condition. Brushed bracelet shows almost no signs of wear. Sized for 7 1/8" wrist with extra links.no box or papers.
Movement functioning within specs.
