There's a slight dome on outside of sapphire with AR (blue tint). The sapphire crystal is unique and exceptional and plays really well with the domed dark blue dial. At many angles the dial appears very dark almost black, and the contrast with the hands and hour markers is exceptional.
The antireflective coating is on both sides of the sapphire. This is rare at this price level. Only Tag Heuer, Omega, Breitling have this and are much more expensive.
The lume is very impressive with the sandwich dial, hands are great, green lume
-date window at 6, switches fine, all numerals fine
steel strap is brushed all over, except for inside edges of links, and tapers from 20 to 18 mm, to butterfly clasp, 2 half links incl.
elsewhere, mirror polish found only on caseback around the glass, the inside of the butterfly clasp, the crown, a fine edge on the bezel, and a fine edge on each lug.
The dial and hands have no visible defects.
