On a guilt trip after adding a rather pricey 8F56 alpinist to the collection and need to let some watches go. Quartz alpinist is my grab-and-go watch now so the Arnie is looking for a new home!
For sale is my Seiko Arnie Reissue SNJ025. IMO, this is THE ana-digi to get from the current line-up because of the direct lineage to the original H558 Seiko Arnie.
There is no ding, fleabite, or scratch on the watch that I could see. High polished case-back has micro scratches that are unavoidable. Having said that, please refer to the photos, taken this morning, for the most accurate depiction of the condition. Watch comes with the original supple strap as well as Uncle Seiko GL831 strap. I am asking C$450. I prefer F2F in GTA but can ship on buyer’s expense.
I will just mention some of the many things I love about this watch; ability to display second time zone on the digital screen, beautiful satin finished hands, Skx-esque painted hour markers, iso-certified diver, power saving mode, the list is long. Don't be tricked by the 48mm diameter, as typical with Seiko tuna cases, the watch fits perfect on my 6.75" wrist. Let me know if you would like to see a wrist shot to get an idea. I invite you to look up Seiko watchmaker/enthusiast Spencer Klein's YT review of this reference. He made some excellent points IMO. He is an absolute gem of a person by the way.
