Hello peoples.
Have a lovely vintage GS up for grabs. This is a rare Early Dial 61GS that appeared during the first run of the 61GS. These had a very short production compared to the later dialed ones. The early dials have the words "Grand Seiko" appear on them and it omits the typical 36000 that you normally see which tells the user its a high beat movement. The rotor on these early models also had "Grand Seiko" inscribed on them. These are much harder to find in great condition than the later pieces.
Case shows signs of dings but appears to be unpolished original condition retaining the sharp case lines.
Medallion appears to be original and in great shape.
Plexi has scratches but thats inevitable on vintage pieces
Dial in good shape with no patina showing but there is a cool 1/4 moon shading affect that is slightly visible.
36mm case x 42mm L2L
18mm lug width
6146A 36000bph movement with slow set day, quickset date
Running on +1.3s/day on my own timing. Was told it registered +3s/day on a timegrapher when I purchased
Note strap in picture is not included, i will provide a NEW Vintage style Original Seiko strap to go with it.
