Well, it is with a heavy heart that I put this watch up for sale. This was my first Swiss piece, a literally figurative behemoth in my collection (its 44mm so sub-7 inch wrists may have trouble). Want to try something new.
As you can see, the numerals on the dial are HUGE - great for my aging eyes.
The watch is in decent shape but had been worn. I'm the second owner - purchased from Chrono24 1.5 years ago. Warranty card looks like it was bought on vacation in Caribbean.
Condition: There is a small line on the side of the top right lug, and on the front of the left lug. The bracelet shows a few scuffs that are evident on the polished midlinks. Also some typical desk diving swirls. Then there's the elephant on the caseback... I was changing straps one bright and shiny morning when I lost muscle control and put a good scratch on the caseback (pics). Can't see it when wearing the watch, but if you're someone who can't live knowing there's a scratch on the back, this isn't the watch for you.
It still has a TON of life left in it for the right owner. Keeps great time - had my watchmaker regulate a few months ago.
Price: $550 obo
Trade candidates: I'm looking to trade up or even only. I'm a Seikopath - any SARX out there? Old Alpinist? New Alpinist you're not bonding with? Also interested in Longines VHP, Casio Oceanus, higher end G Shock, Oris, Sinn, Damasko, Orient Star. Micros that have these vibes. No Divers - I'm more interested in GADA fixed bezel sports watches.
I'd obviously throw in $$ for higher value pieces.
