The Grand Seiko Limited Edition 1960 Stainless Steel
Offered here is a classic rendition of the 1960 Grand Seiko made in 2017. A completely sold out edition and very desirable. Perhaps the most desirable of the modern Grand Seiko watches…. For those of you who know Grand Seiko, you know how hard it is to find one of these of the rarest collectible in the GS lineup.
The model number is SBGW 253
These on eBay are $7500 USD and up for used and $9K for NIB. This watch is not new but MINT. The pictures are of the actual watch and it does come complete with everything as it was new.
The strap shows a small amount of discolour but that is just from sitting on the watch pad inside the box.
The watch had a wonderful review on Hondinkee:

This re-created model preserves the design of the first Grand Seiko launched in 1960, adding the manual winding mechanical Caliber 9S64 movement
The case is made of stainless steel—not available in the original model.
The Grand Seiko lion logo embedded on the case back of the watch in 18k yellow gold is a special touch.
The combination of the embossed Grand Seiko logo and the markers (diamond cut on the original watch) help this watch express the style and feel of the original.
