Up for sale is my Grand Seiko SBGA085 purchased in June 2015 from an AD in Japan. I'm the original owner.
This is a fantastic "Go Anywhere, Do Anything" watch. Subtle and understated with just enough bling when the light catches the hands/markers.
Not much else to say about it. Those reading this post should be fairly familiar with Grand Seiko and its quality and value.
I've worn the watch regularly so it does have some hairline scratches and desk diving marks - all of which can be buffed/polished out. The crystal is perfect. There are no dents or cracks on the watch and it has never been dropped or hit against anything.
Technical stuff:
Size: 39mm
Height: 12mm
Water Resistance: 100m
Movement: 9R65 Spring Drive
Accuracy: +1 sec per week
Solid case back and screw down crown
Asking $3100 shipped and insured.
The watch will include the box, papers (manual & Certificate of Guarantee) and extra links (currently sized for a 6.5 inch wrist). I've sold a couple of watches here but mainly at WUS. Reviews can be found by doing a search here and at WUS (same name).
Most of you have heard and read about Grand Seiko but never seen them in person. This is a great opportunity to see what the Grand Seiko and Spring Drive hype is all about without having to pay top dollar.
