Here we have a piece from Grand Seiko's heritage collection, the SBGH279 hi-beat automatic with a smoky grey brush-finished dial housed in the legendary 44GS case, measuring 40mm in diameter. I'm the original owner, having just bought it new last month, but after minimal wrist time, have decided I prefer my Grand Seiko pieces with a little more colour somewhere in the mix.
Condition: Condition is mint, having been worn for only a couple of days around the house as a test run. The original protective plastic is still on the caseback, and also intact over most of the bracelet, with the exception of the clasp area, which I unwrapped for sizing purposes. Currently sized for my 6.5-inch wrist, and comes with three more full links, and one half link, all in unworn condition. This is full kit, with pictured boxes, rice paper, instruction manual, hang tag, inspection certificate, and warranty booklet dated Dec. 27, 2021. Covered by the new GS 5-year warranty term.
Price: Retail is $8100 plus tax. Asking $6900, shipped and fully insured via Flagship. Willing to hear out possible trades if you've got something to offer, with my preference leaning toward other interesting Grand Seikos (e.g. SBGJ241 matrix).
