Still today one of the classiest watches, from one of the most respected Manufactures in Switzerland.
This Duodate was purchased around 2010 form a local Canadian JLC dealer. It will come to you with the boxset and booklet, but not the original papers. They have not been found. If they turn up, they will be forwarded the new owner.
This is the Grande model that is currently part of the Reverso lineup. It is smaller and a bit more manageable to most than the Limited Edition Duodate 986 that preceded it. Gorgeous watch. Very elegant and practical.
It was owned by a collector and rarely worn in rotation for several years before retiring to the safe. Sadly the original owner had many watches in his safe and he did not store them separately. As a result there were many small dimples and dings on the case and bracelet. The watch was sent to a jeweler for a polishing, and it now looks terrific. Most of the blemishes are barely visible.
Service history is unknown, however, the watch scoped +4 to +6 seconds in 3 positions at my local watchmaker.
Current msrp is $11,100 US.
This is an amazing watch and it is being offered here at a bargain price of $5550 including fully insured fedex overnight to any address in Canada.
The watch is in Montreal. I will consider trades for other high end Swiss watches.
