Up for sale is my beloved Longines Avigation Big Eye Chronograph. I never thought I would sell this watch but I don't need two chronos in the collection (Hamilton Intramatic Reverse Panda is the other one, in case you are curious).
My watch is in excellent condition with very little signs of wear. I've owned it for almost 2,5 years; bought it in July 2018 and the card is dated March 2018 - so the watch is out of warranty but works perfectly as it should. I never wore the watch on its original strap. I put her on various quick-release aftermarket straps (to keep the lugs clean) and I can definitely tell you that she's a strap monster. From green to red, different types of nato to just black rubber, all look good on her (attached a few pictures below); so the original strap is in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear. There are no dings, gauges, fleabites of any sort to the naked eye; excuse the dust and lint in the pictures. The chrono-hand resets absolutely perfectly (chrono-hand alignment is an OCD of mine). The watch comes full kit with all the booklets, box, price tag, plastic protective wrap, warranty card, etc.
The watch retails for ~$3,825, all in. I am looking for $2,300. Trades up, down or across are all welcome but I am picky. No disrespect but no microbrands, digital/smart watches or quartz please. Tons of positive feedback since 2014.
The box is big and heavy - I will ship it to established members but on their label only. F2F in Toronto is strongly preferred.
