For sale, the ultimate non-Rolex sub-style watch, a German made Marcello C Nettuno 3 (2007.2 model). I am asking what I consider to be a very reasonable $300 plus shipping. No trades, please. I would prefer an interac transaction, but will accept Paypal if you pay the fees.
I bought this watch in 2006 intending to use it to decide whether I wanted to buy a Rolex sub. The watch was so well made and looked so good that I decided to stick with it rather than going to a Rolex.
Details of the watch:
300 meter water resistance
Automatic ETA 2824-2 movement with date function
Sapphire crystal with magnifier
Unidirectional rotating diver's bezel
Superluminova treated hands and applied markers
40mm (without crown)
13 mm thick
The watch is very well made. It is German made and features a Swiss movement. The bracelet is incredible; heavy and extremely well made and it has a diver's extension. New, it sells for $998 US (http://marcelloc-watches.com/collection/divers/).
I fell out of my sub-phase a few years back and this one has been worn once or twice per year since 2010. With the recent addition of the PRS-68 that I bought on this forum, I decided to clear out a diver.
The condition is good. As the photos show, there are some marks on the bezel and on the bracelet, but it has been well cared for and keeps excellent time. I have tried to take photos that emphasize the marks, but when the watch is worn, you really don't notice them. As you'll see from some angles, marks visible from one angle no longer show up.
Wearing it over the last two days, it is +4-5 seconds over approximately 40 hours.
Unfortunately, I lost the box and the travel case some years ago when I moved back from the UK. I still have the warranty card and instruction pamphlet (they were in a different box...). I also have two extra links for the bracelet.
I have lots of references on T Z-UK and WUS under the same user name.
Now the photos:
