Up for sale is a stunning blacked out 42mm Maurice Lacroix Aikon automatic. This is watch only, no box or papers. The AIKON Automatic is the heart and the essence of the AIKON collection. Clad in black, and featuring a sandblasted treatment, its monochromatic color scheme can be dressed up or down. Thin enough to fit under a shirt cuff while still delivering a commanding wrist presence. Its matt finish covers its 42 mm diameter case, its screw-down crown, and its bezel with its six arms that are so characteristic of the AIKON. Features an open back sapphire display and integrated and water resistant OEM textured strap with M embossed logo and OEM deployment clasp. The strap features a spring loaded easy release system so no need for scratch creating strap removal tools with this one! Water resistant to 200 metres. The Clou de Paris dial of the AIKON Automatic Black opens up a new way of playing with light. The same colour as the rest of the watch, it gleams with a particular vividness, as do the polished applied hour markers and anthracite hands that are coated in black Super-LumiNova. Nothing detracts from the watch’s absolute monochrome character. The watch is in near perfect condition with only a couple of ultra tiny fleabites between 12 and 2 that I tried to capture. Perfect crystal and no dents or scratches anywhere on the watch other than the mentioned. Stunning daily that makes an impact with its ability to reflect light between its matte finished case and polished bezel markers and textured dial with polished indices. Must be seen to be fully appreciated.
