Alpina Men’s Avalanche Extreme Regulator Manufacture Date Automatic Watch

This model watch is a rare find from the Swiss brand Alpina’s Adventure-series (manufactured in December 2009). Unlike many other Alpina models this has their nicely-decorated [own] manufacture automatic 26 jeweled calibre AL950 which incorporates their proprietary regulator mechanism. This 46mm diameter watch sits comfortably one one’s wrist and does not feel bulky at all.
Most other Alpina regulators do not have the date function. This model replaced the seconds sub-dial with a full date register at the 6’ O clock position. It’s minute regulator hand is skeletonized allowing exact minute reading. The hour sub-dial also has the skeleton design. The easy-to-read (even under low-light conditions) dial is covered by a double-sided anti-reflective crystal. The movement has perlage on the main body and hand-enhanced Cotes de Geneve burnished plates contrasted with fire blued screws and red ruby jewels. To finish off with you have the uniquely-designed black rotor which bears the Alpina logo.
It was purchased in January 2011. It has always been kept in its case. There are no abrasions of any sort on this watch. The protective film on the exhibition case back has never been removed (see the photos). It has not been exposed to any harsh elements nor to moisture of any kind.
The watch is fitted with the factory soft rubber full-adjustable strap and hidden butterfly fast-deployment signed locking spring clasp. The outer side of the band is embossed with the Alpina logo (the inner side of the band has the embossed name as well).
It comes in the original presentation box with all papers and tag including the two-year manufacturer’s international warranty registration form which have not been filled in. It also includes a manufacturer-signed certificate of authenticity.
