Unfortunately due to personal circumstances I have had to sell the first real watch I have ever owned.
I have for sale an Omega Planet Ocean 2500 XL (45.5mm) with the rare and coveted Sharkmesh (ref. 2200.53.00). It is a full set with box and papers. The warranty card is undated, however the serial number does place it somewhere between 2009/2010. The serial number starts with 8535XXXX which also means this is a D series movement. If you read up on the movements in the 2500 Planet Oceans you’ll note that the movement in the D series Planet Oceans is much more robust and preferred to the C series.
I would consider the condition to be very good except for small nicks on the Sharkmesh clasp. Other than this, there are no scratches on the case or any other part of the bracelet that I can see. There are some minor hairline scratches on the back of the lugs. You are more than welcome to examine it F2F.
As mentioned the watch comes with a full set, box and papers. In addition to this, I am including two recently purchased Omega NATO Straps (with curved and straight end spring bars). The Bond Style black & grey which is in like new condition as I have only worn is a handful of times. I have another black & red omega NATO which has some wear on it as seen in the pictures. I am also including two new Phenomenato Straps (in green and beige). The beige was taken out of the packaging to be put on the watch just to see how it looks. It has not been worn, and neither has the green strap. If you read up on Phenomenato, you’ll know these are high quality straps to rival Omega’s NATO Straps. I am also including the strap changing tool and kit as well at the magazine which came with the NATO straps.
The watch is running well and on time. It is currently not being worn until it is sold. I have not had it serviced since I bought it last summer. I purchased it outside of this forum from a member here before I knew this place existed.
Only looking for F2F deals anywhere in the GTA for now. I am willing to travel to meet anyone slightly beyond the GTA. I am willing to meet anywhere that the purchaser would feel comfortable with the obvious COVID related precautions.
I am offering this whole package for $4250.00 OBO. I may have missed something, so please PM if you have any questions or require any more information/photographs.
