I recently got the hankering to pursue my grail, so one of my favourite time pieces is up for your consideration.
For sale Planet Ocean GMT Titanium, Liquidmetal, Si14 balance spring. Titanium bracelet and OEM blue rubber strap with steel deployant clasp. Full kit, under warranty. No fuss price of $7400.
This is the 600M Planet Ocean with the beautiful and light titanium case. There are polished and brushed faces on the case which make it very interesting visually. There are no dings, scratches, flea bites or other imperfections; the polished areas do show some tiny swirlies. Case size is 43.5mm which, for me, hits the sweet spot between 42 and 45mm watches. Front and back sapphire crystals are perfect. The screw-down crown as well as the He escape crown work as they were meant to. The titanium bracelet has been worn sparingly and has no scratches on neither the links nor the clasp; it is currently sized for a 7.25" wrist and comes with an extra link. The watch is currently mounted on the very comfortable Omega blue rubber strap which comes with its own steel deployant clasp. The ceramic and Liquidmetal bezel is flawless.
The GMT function works really well; by setting the crown to position 2 you can move the hour hand independently forwards and backwards. Setting the crown on position 3 allows you to move the minute hand which also moves the GMT hand and the hour hand (as per a normal watch); you can set two timezones using this method. The GMT bezel will allow you to set a third time zone.
The movement is a co-axial 8605, COSC certified, rhodium plated and a beauty to observe. It comes with two barrels giving you a 60 hour reserve and Omega's silicon balance spring.
I acquired this fantastic piece from a reputable CWC member. You do not see this model come up for sale often. The watch is under warranty until September 2018. Comes with full box and papers, of course.
I ask $7400 for this watch. Local deal preferred in the GTA, but we may make an arrangement for shipping. Since I have a grail piece in my sights, I am not considering trades.
