I was quite sure when I bough this one that I would never part with it. In fact, I went a bought an extra bracelet for it from Prometheus (which in hindsight, seems a bit silly). But, time passes, and I seem to wear it less. So, to make room in the case for the incoming pieces, I have had to move out the less used ones.
The Poseidon is a very cool watch with a perfect (IMO) diameter of 43mm, a nice weight to it, a thick curved sapphire crystal (and sapphire bezel!), and boasts a ridiculous rating of 3500 metres. That's right, for anyone planning to go scuba diving 3 1/2 kilometres under the sea (about the average depth of the ocean), the is the watch for you. Or, you could strap it to the outside of your bathyscaphe and read the time through the window... Maybe that would make use of the helium escape valve on the side.
The watch also features a a clasp that allows for fine tuning the diameter (see photos). The lume on this watch is excellent, for those who like me, need to see the time far too often in the middle of the night. The accuracy of this watch is good, within +/- 5 as far as I recall.
The watch comes with the original case, the extra links (one of which is 'X'd by the previous owner presumably because it is damaged. No matter. Still lots of other links, and a whole other brand new, never used bracelet as well! It also includes the lug tool and a the original leather strap, never used.
The condition of the watch head is excellent, with no significant scratches. The original bracelet has the usual minor scuffs and swirls, as well as a once-buffed clasp. The extra bracelet is perfect, unused, still in plastic. The leather strap is also perfect, unused.
The price from Prometheus for this watch new was $980 Canadian - ($750 USD), and I am adding in the new and unused extra bracelet. I am asking $600 for the kit, plus $20 tracked shipping to US/Canada.
