I have not seen a 114270 sold on these forums in 3+ years. Now is your chance to pick up a premium example.

What makes it a collectors set?

- This watch is unpolished and the lugs and case are in excellent condition with only surface marks from normal wear
- This watch was discontinued in 2010 and the current example is a V serial which was sold in December 2010. This makes it one of the last examples sold.
- This explorer is one of the few examples with engraved rehaut (only the last couple of years of production)
- Comes with boxes, warranty card, booklets, bezel protector, chronometer tag
- Comes with original sales receipt
- Purchased locally in my home (Newfoundland)

Price: $7500

709-660-3051 text/call or PM for questions or higher resolution pictures.

lots of references in the positive feedback section ,

Bump and reduced to 7300 or best reasonable offer. Real collectors set here. First 114270 sold on CWC in years.

7000 because i have my eye on something else...nothing is cooler than a 36mm explorer

I feel like you can see all the little tiny surface scratches that are meaningless because of the direct sunlight in the first set of pictures...here is another set. The watch really is in excellent unpolished condition.

BRING ME YOUR GLORIOUS TRADE OFFERS:cool::cool:: + or -. I am really into chronographs lately....here are some examples of things I am interested in...however, I will take anything in trade if the valuation is very good to facilitate a transaction

Omega - speedmaster variants ck2998, 57, DSOTM, Mark 2.
Panerai - throw a really good deal at me on a panerai and ill consider it. I have never owned one!
Rolex - Considering all trades for steel sports models +-, no two-tone
AP - 26320ST royal oak chronograph or throw a killer deal at me on a overseas.
TAG - monaco + cash
Tudor - heritage chrono blue, new black bay chrono

SURPRISE ME! Make me a solid cash offer I might be in a good mood (about to have my coffee so that always improves your chances :cool:).

Still entertaining all offers of cash or trades! Almost there! Possibly the most comfortable Rolex you can wear!

Edit: I realize there is a lot of variance with regards to price on chrono24 for this model. When comparing please consider that this watch is sold in December 2010 which is one of the last examples sold. There are only 1 or 2 examples on chrono24 from this era. At the very least you should filter for the years 07,08,09,10,11 which are the examples that might have engraved rehaut. 2007/2008 may or may not have the engraved rehaut. I have been very liberal with this search below. Most of these watches do not have engraved rehaut or are missing papers, have been polished, etc.

Lots of trade offers but nothing that is tempting enough......SO....its time to stop messing around!

First to offer me $6000 cash takes it shipped and insured!! Late 2010 watch (the 214270 was released in 2010), unpolished, engraved rehaut, full set! Don't miss your chance to own a late example of the classic explorer in its original proportions!:cool:

Here is a similar example that sold 2 weeks ago. 2008 watch that sold for $4600US ($6200CAD) - https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=516050&highlight=114270
