Offering this Rolex Datejust ref. 16233, E series, cal. 3135 quickset with sapphire crystal (brand new crystal has been ordered: see above) because I now have two very similar Datejusts in my collection. This listing is for the Rolex Datejust only (no B&P).
I'm especially interested in seeing what you may offer in trade (down or across preferred; up possible if we're close) and generally like Rolex, Omega (such as Speedy, 'non-LNIB Moon', AT, and others), Tudor (such as 'Bay' series, chronographs, Heritage, and others), vintage pieces, a nice dress watch... or something I hadn't even thought of until asked? TRY ME!
As you can see by the photos, I placed the watch under very harsh direct LED light so you know it will look much better on your wrist. All in all this is a good honest example of an iconic timepiece!
To the best of my knowledge this piece has never been polished, hence I am offering to have it freshened up by my watchmaker but leaving it up to the new owner. As shown in the photos, case lines are nice and strong, lugs are thick, and evidence of having been worn is in keeping with its age. As shown in the photos, if you look closely there are a couple nicks in the bezel but the great thing about these iconic fluted gold bezels is they do a great job of keeping such from being noticed while on the wrist! Dial is spotless.
The winding crown screws down nice and snug, and the movement winds, sets, and runs nicely.
Per forum rules, I'll list a cash price of only $3k CAD EMT for this 16233 however as mentioned I'm especially interested in trades (trade value slightly more as usual).
Most similar listings are 'for sale only' or discourage trades, so I figured I'd shake things up a bit: show me what you've got!
