Up for offer today is my 2008 Rolex 16610 - M serial. To me the M serial is one of the more interesting 16610s as it represents a transitional model between the aluminum and ceramic subs - it is the first of the subs to get the engraved rehaut and is one of the last of the aluminium bezels before the switch to ceramic.
The watch is in fantastic shape, I purchased it off another CWC member a few years ago and have worn is carefully in rotation. It has a few minor dings - all of which would disappear with a mild polish at its next service. I have given the watch a careful look over and will do my best to describe any minor imperfections: there are two small dings on the crown side of the watch in the mirror finish. I tried to capture them in the pictures - they are again minor so I tried to get the light to reflect and hit them to accentuate and show them better. On the non crown side there was another even smaller ding - again I think the picture shows it (you can't even feel it with your finger nail). There is a tiny mark on the left lug at around the 7 o'clock marker. The bracelet has the usual desk diver wear - but again nothing deep and nothing significant.
The service history is unknown - I have been wearing it one day every two weeks or so - but when I wear it, everything is perfectly accurate, date flips over strong etc.
The watch comes with a full kit as pictured with all links (however, currently sized to my small 6.5" wrist!). It was purchased in the Caymans from an AD and legally imported and declared. Included in the package is the paid duty/declaration card - always nice to have!
I am a bit reluctant to sell this but it isn't getting enough wrist time; however, if I can't get a good price for it, I am quite happy to keep this classic. I may consider trades down with cash coming my way.
Happy to do a local face to face in the GTA with established members. I positive references on the site. I can also ship overnight via FedEx - but I don't have a ParcelPro account.
Asking $6850.
Thanks and please see the below for pictures.
