Up for reluctant sale is my recently acquired Rolex Explorer 2 tritium dialed 1990 reference 16570. This watch was the same one being sold by a very well known and respected Forum Sponsor about a month ago and I was very fortunate to have moved quickly and beaten a lot of people to it. Unfortunately some things have come up that are making me move this along to the next lucky owner. It is everything you would expect a vintage Rolex to be and so much more. Beautiful original and untouched tritium dial and hands, polar dial perfection with no blemishes or discoloration of any kind and a perfect crystal. Beautifully even creamy patina on the plots and hands. There are significant signs of wear on the case but it only adds to the wonderful warmth and charm this piece exudes. There are some areas where the numbers have lost their black color but easily replaced or refinished if you desire. A small fleabite just the right of the number 24 is probably the most notable ding. Smaller imperfections mostly on the bezel area. Lugs are very crisp and even. Personally I love it as it is and wouldn't touch it. Here is the link from the original sale as the original seller's description was dead on accurate. There hasn't been any change to the condition of the watch since I acquired it. I've worn it maybe 1 week total. This watch is for the head only, there is no bracelet or strap, however will come with its original outer and inner box and pillow.

I am simply looking to recoup what I invested in terms of overall value, I am not looking to profit from this sale. Asking a fair and absolutely firm $7,995.

Cheers,

Nuno

Only trades considered would be down for maybe a Cartier Tank Solo large size which would allow me to net at least $6k in cash on top. Not looking for even value trades as my main purpose is to obtain cash.
