Took this watch on trade recently but I prefer the 6-digit Rolex’s
Here are the details:
Rolex Explorer II Polar
“Swiss Only” dial
A serial, papers are dated 1999
The watch is in unbelievably clean shape, there are some very light markings on the bezel, a polish in its current state would be a complete waste in my opinion. Bracelet has minimal stretch.
Lugs are still very sharp, and clasp coronet is very prominent, making it evident that this piece is not over-polished
Sale includes watch with 12 links, original papers, and a newer style box. This is how I received it, if you prefer having an era-correct box, I can arrange to swap the newer box for an older
Asking price will be a fair $9250 plus shipping, or will consider your Rolex trades (I prefer modern). Face to face welcome for those with references.
Please avoid the lowball offers, this is one of the cleanest 16570’s I’ve seen.
