Before you all get excited, this is a very specific trade request.
At this time, I am only interested in trading for a Rolex 114270 or 14270, plus cash on your end (TBD)
I just acquired this piece from CWC off a trusted member a couple months ago. I love this watch, but as this hobby goes, the chase is always the best part.
Here are few details on the watch:
- Rolex Submariner 14060 (rating it at 90%, you'll be impressed based on its age)
- Two liner
- Tritium dial; lume is now well past it's expiry date, dial markers and hands currently showing a nice cream coloured patina
- Crystal is clean with no chips
- T-serial; places the watch's production to 1996
- No service history, however the watch has been running strong at -4secs/day with no hiccups whatsoever and keeping its stated power reserve
- Watch is currently sized to roughly 6.5", 9 links on the watch, with an additional 2 you can add in
- Comes with box, no papers
- Little to no stretch in the bracelet
- Polished sides have some swirls, but no major dents, minor fleabites. Remember, this is a 19-year old watch ... and it looks super clean!
As mentioned, only interested in an older Rolex Explorer I. Box would be nice, papers are not necessary. The Explorer should be in well-kept condition; service history is not required either. So long as it's running well and looks in good shape, I'm interested in talking.
Local deal in Toronto preferred so we can both inspect the watches, chat, and be satisfied on condition.
Here are a couple of pictures on my computer since owning it (please ask for anything else specifically).
Thanks,
Mike
