Would YOU like to buy a 1680 Submariner? Well search no more! Up for sale is a great example of a 1680. It was serviced in January 2011, and all is still well. I can't say for certain, but I don't believe it was polished during servicing.
It comes on a 91350 bracelet with 580 end links, which I think are the correct set, as it is a 6 xxx xxx serial number watch from 1979.
The dial, the hands, and the bezel dot all have an incredibly nice, matching patina. Not all of the tritium Rolexes have this matching patina. I can't see any imperfections on the nice matte dial. The bezel is also great with only a few scratches, and is not missing the bezel dot as some are.
The price is $5'700 but I am open to reasonable offers.
