Condition
This is a 62MAS with big crown. The dial is in ok condition. There are some spots between 10 & 11 o’clock. There’s a white spot on the left side of the date window. There’s a white spot inside the “o” of seiko. There are small spots between 4 and 7 o’clock. There are other imperfections but not as major as mentioned above. Both hands have some lume missing. Otherwise, the lume is original on the dial and hands.
The crystal is in very good condition. The casebook markings are intact and very legible. The case has some nicks and dings, please see pics.
The bezel and bezel insert are original. The bezel turns smoothly as it should. The bezel has turned a very nice grey colour. The watch comes on a NOS "tropic star" strap with new springbars. The watch keeps excellent time.

The 6217-8000/1, or 62MAS (autoMAtic Selfdater) was the first professional diver from Seiko in 1965. It started the diver series for Seiko that continues till today. It was the first diver in Seiko’s lineup to feature an external rotating bezel, and a water resistance of 150 meters.
