Hello everyone,
I finally decided to sell my seiko landmaster summiter, that I bought in Japan back in 2005. I brought the watch into the mountains with me and the altimeter and barometer worked flawlessly. The watch keeps near perfect time and with it being Titanium, I don't even know I'm wearing it until I need to know the time. And yes, one can use the barometer function to predict approaching storms, This was very useful in the mountains.
It's the kind of watch that looks great with jeans and T-Shirt, Mountaineering gear and even a suit. It's a go everywhere watch, even in the water.
This watch has been to the top of various mountains across Japan, the Adirondacks, Lake Superior Park and even Joshua Tree National Monument. It really is a winner.
Then in 2009~2010, I slipped it back into its case, only to take it out and admire it every now and then. I had the battery changed once by a very reputable watch smith. If the potential buyer would like, I can put you in contact with the watchsmith. The watch works perfectly, the outside has some light blemishes, as it was worn and brought everywhere. The strap the original and also has some light blemishes. But I think these are very minor especially considering the watch. The crystal is perfect with no scratches. I have shown this to another watchsmith and an avid watch collector who both say that it's a rare and unique watch and suggest the price I'm asking.
I'm asking:
$950.00 CAD
I live in Ottawa Ontario, and if the potential buyer would like, I am happy to meet you in person if not too far from Ottawa. I can discuss this with the potential buyer. If we do not live near one another, than I can put you in contact with people who have seen and held the watch and can vouch for the watch and myself. Please let me know if I missed anything.
