SOLD: Seiko Marinemaster Professional SBDX001 "MM300"

For sale is my Seiko Marinemaster Professional SBDX001 "MM300" diver. This was purchased brand new from Seiya Japan back in April 2012. The watch was gently worn in a rotation 2-3 times a week for the first year. For the second year, it was worn about 5-6 times in the year.

Condition:

I would rate the condition of this watch at 90%. There are desk diver swirls on the clasp and 12 o'clock links closest to the clasp. There are light scratches on the rest of the links that are not very noticeable. These scratches can all be buffed out.

There are minor hairline scratches along the polished side of the case and lug holes.

There are a couple of very light hairline scratches on the bezel that are barely noticeable.

There are no marks on the crystal.

I've timed the watch for the past few days and it's currently at -5 secs/day - rested crown up. I'm sure the accuracy would be better with regular use, but I've not worn it in the past few weeks.

According to the serial number of the watch, it was assembled in Aug 2011.

Package:

The watch will include the bracelet (currently sized for a 6.5 inch wrist) and all of the links
Unused rubber strap that came with the watch
Warranty card
Booklets
Hang tags
Original boxes

This is an iconic Seiko diver and a true classic amongst the WIS world. This was my first expensive watch and was the watch that showed me what Seiko is capable of. With it's beautifully polished case, high gloss bezel, domed crystal, beveled hands, patina like lume and deep dial, I truly think this is one of the best looking divers past and present. I would be remiss if I didn't mention that the movement in this watch is the Calibre 8L35 which is an undecorated, unregulated Grand Seiko movement all housed within a unique monocoque case. The bracelet has a very cool ratcheting clasp that makes adjusting the watch to your wrist very easy. A quick search will find numerous reviews from owners who share my feelings towards this watch. It really is a great watch and one that I will definitely miss.
