Condition + Details
Overall, this watch is in truly excellent condition. It winds very well, holds power for two days and as you'll see from the pictures below, the case/dial/bezel/crystal are basically like new. There are no nicks, dents, scratches or blemishes present. The movement is currently running about +9s/day, which is well within the range for an ETA 6497. The watch comes in the original box, with a hangtag and a stamped ownership paper (see pictures). This watch was purchased in December of 2013 from a Steinhart dealer in Singapore.
Also included in the deal are a set of 7 straps (see pictures): 2 Steinhart originals (one black and one grey), 2 brown leather straps (different shades, 22mm tapering to 20mm) and three Nato straps.
Why am I selling?
To be honest, my tastes have changed since 2013. I've become a fan of smaller watches (36mm-40mm) and so this is a bit too big for me. As a result, I stopped wearing it. I originally purchased it because I was a fan of the IWC Big Pilot and this was as close as I could get on my budget at the time. I'm a huge strap collector too and since I don't plan on owning another 22mm lug width watch; hence, I'm also adding the straps to the deal.
