Up for sale is my father’s TAG Heuer Grand Carrera Calibre 8RS (Ref No. WAV5113.FC6231), purchased through an LVMH employee in late 2009. This stunning watch features a brown dial, an easy-to-appreciate large date complication and a novel way of displaying the GMT (via a rotating disc). The watch is in very good condition with a few minor scratches that showing some signs of light wear. The original brown Alligator strap is in 70% condition. The watch runs a few seconds slow per day, but does not require immediate servicing.
The watch comes with all boxes and a manual, although the manual is for the Calibre 6 RS. Perhaps not a surprising mix-up given that the watch came to my father via an LVMH employee purchase. Although the watch on hand is clearly more important than the manual itself, I have nonetheless discounted the price accordingly.
