For those that collect Panerai and those who have owned one or two in their lives, this model needs no introduction.
For those that have not, may I introduce the Panerai 233 Dot Dial. The most requested and sought after Panerai model on the secondary market.
Why?
Perhaps it's the 8 day power reserve and indicator for those that hate having to reset the time on your watch if it does not enter the rotation again after 3 days.
Maybe it's the GMT function for those jet setters.
But what is a 'dot dial'? The 233 has 2 variants, the am/pm and the dot dial which is Lumed in the day, and not lumed at night.
Ultimately the Dot Dial is a refinement to one of the most versatile watch models in Panerai's lineup and further improves it by creating a more balanced dial (in my personal opinion).
This watch was acquired personally from a designer and stylist who works for a major American television show. The watch has an original box and all tools as well as 2 straps. There are no booklets, chronometer cert or warranty card. In place of that, the watch does however have paperwork for the $700 USD full service provided by Panerai a little over a year ago.
Watch is an I series (2008) limited to 1500 pieces.
I'll take a full OEM service over an expired warranty card any day. I am however working on procuring original booklets for this model.
In addition an authentication and appraisal will be performed by Damiani sometime this week.
Inclusion of a deployment and/or additional straps to be discussed individually with interested parties.
Asking $10,350 CAD
If you have a trade or partial trade (Panerai and Rolex preferred, let me know)
Also open to negotiating with reasonable people. So, let the party begin.
