Here’s another watch that’s been sitting in my watch drawer for quite some time. It’s a 1950s Tudor Prince Oyster in two tone with black waffle dial. The gilt writing on the dial has faded to the point it’s tough to see unless at the right angle. Caseback has scratches and an engraving. Serial and reference number are clearly legible. The watch runs but doesn’t keep time. Might be a cool project for someone.
I’ve seen prices on the black waffle dial all over the map - from $1500 to $15000! I’ll offer mine for trade at a value of $1500...
