Never thought I'd be writing this post...This was the one I was never going to sell.
Bought this last year from a fellow who inherited it from his elderly uncle. It came out of Eastern Pennsylvania. It's really only had one wearing owner before me.
It's been worn for sure...It's not a safe or watch box queen, but it's just so awesome.
As soon as I brought the watch home, it went directly to Shane Ede in Toronto for a full service and cleaning. I deliberately didn't take it to Rolex Toronto.
I didn't want unnecessary parts replaced and didn't want it made like brand new. It shows beautifully and any of the "beauty marks" in the photos aren't visible
while on the wrist or to the unmagnified eye for that matter. There is a small chip in the bezel insert just to the right of "12" that is not readily noticeable.
New inserts are available from Rolex but I had no intention of swapping it.
It has the untouched and coveted "champagne" silver panda dial with black sub dials. The bracelet is the original 78360 Oyster bracelet with 589 end links.
There are 12 bracelet links.
The serial number dates this to 1994.
It runs perfectly, pushers function as intended. I've worn it in rotation about a week at a time and have not noticed any variation in accuracy. It's dead on.
There are good reasons these are often called a Tudor "Daytona"....
I'm looking for $5250 and thanks in advance, but not looking for trades at this time.
