For sale is my Rolex 6084. I purchased the watch in the fall in barn find - not running - condition. I sent the watch for repair and while it was away I purchased a couple other pieces... so unfortunately something or a couple somethings have to go.
The watch just returned from Ashton Tracy and has the full balance of Ashton’s 2 year warranty.
This reference is famous for being the watch that Edmund Hillary took to the summit of Everest in 1953. The 6084 came with a number of different dials. This is a rare example with a dial nearly identical to Hillary’s with 12 triangle hour markers. I think it would be fair to refer to this as a pre-explorer.

- serial would date this watch to 1950-1952 depending on which reference you like.
- cal 645 freshly serviced and running great
- 34 mm stainless steel case
- 19 mm lugs
- alpha hands with blued seconds hand
- I believe the watch is all original with exception of the crystal that was replaced at the recent service.
- watch comes on an unworn leather strap (pictured).
