SOLD: Vintage Rolex Thunderbird Turn-o-graph - Ref. 1625 - Two Tone Gold/Stainless

A fantastic vintage Rolex Thunderbird Turn-O-Graph Ref. 1625 that dates back to the late 1960s. The Thunderbird Turn-o-Graph models sometime fly under the radar but have an interesting history that dates back to the early 1950s.

Gold bezel is sharp and rotates smoothly. Stainless steel case is well preserved.

Original, unrefinished dial is a stunner and the alpha style hands compliment it very well. Small mark next to the 10 o’clock marker that is only visible in certain light.

Chronometer rated movement is keeping time but service history is unknown. As with any vintage watch, a service is recommended if you intend to wear the watch on a daily basis.

Two tone bracelet compliments the watch quite well, though the watch would also look great with a leather strap. Bracelet is stretched but the clasp closes firm. Bracelet will likely fit 7.5 inch wrist.
