SOLD: Zenith El Primero Rainbow Flyback

Selling my absolutely gorgeous Zenith El Primero Rainbow Flyback (02.0480.405) with full box and papers, as shown, for $8001 plus shipping. I originally purchased this watch in February, 2021, new old stock, from a private collector in Italy. I have only worn it sparingly since then and have predominantly kept it stored in my watchbox over the last year. It is in excellent, near mint condition. The dial is spectacular and there are only some light marks on the bracelet from occasional wear. The watch measures 40mm x 47mm and is 12mm thick, with 100m of water resistance (though I never, ever wore it in the water). The watch keeps excellent time and the flyback chronograph movement works flawlessly. As some of you may know, this watch was commissioned by the French Air Force, but after the French elections at that time, the government canceled the project and the watches that had been produced were subsequently sold to the public. The watch is capable of withstanding eleven G’s (anything more than nine G’s is usually fatal) and features the legendary automatic El Primero Caliber 405 movement, with a 55 hour power reserve. This is an iconic piece with real military heritage, limited to 4,850 pieces. No trades.
