Stocking Stuffers - 5 watches under $300! Longines - Wittnauer - IWC - Gruen - Doxa
In the interest of not spamming CWC, I decided to combine a listing of fun watches that would make a great addition to someone's collection while not breaking the bank.
Watches available FTF in Toronto or shipped free of charge.
Each of the watches listed I saw as being undervalued in the market. I don't expect to get more than they are worth, but find that dollar for dollar, these 5 pieces are heavy hitters.
Longines
Starting with the Longines. Stainless steel Milanese style bracelet running into a 30mm cushion case. The original solid gold crown is intact and 17 jewel movement is running flawlessly.
I was immediately drawn to this watch. I don't recall many stainless models with gold dials. But this just works.
Priced at $300
Doxa Anti-Magnetic
Those that know me know my affinity for domed sapphire/plexi, and this is no exception. Reminiscent of the Max Bill Chronoscope. This is just a stunningly simple 35mm piece.
I however am waiting for my ball caseback opener to get further details, but can run it over my watch guy if there are any questions.
Offered at $200
Titanium DLC Momo Dual Time
For the money, this is one of the coolest watches I have come across. DLC titanium case with the rubber strap make he piece super light. The two independent Quartz movements keep the piece super thin.
It's just an all around great watch when out on the town and at 39mm excluding the dual crowns, this watch gets noticed.
Pricing this watch is hard as they don't come up for sale often. Original selling price was $1500USD and the watch can pass as NOS with the full package despite that I've worn it a number of times.
Was a great watch while riding the Harley as those croc bands get petty gross when it's hot.
Offered at $750
More to come.....
