Offered for sale is a stunning vintage Movado Museum/Zenith collaboration. The two companies worked together for a short period of time in the 60s/70s to create some fantastic pieces, combining the classic Movado design and performance and reliability of a Zenith movement.
The black dial with a date feature at 12 o’clock is in excellent condition.
Heavy solid 14k yellow gold case weighs almost 40 grams (with movement), equating to a scrap gold value of about $1000 (assuming 25 grams of gold/15 gram movement). The case is razor sharp. The case measures approximately 34mm not including the crown.
Inside is an example of Zeniths master craftsmenship, a cal. 2572 PC automatic movement. Service history is unknown but the watch is keeping time.
