Vintage Seiko 7a38 Chronograph
This was an amazing find to say the least. The original dial has turned cream and the even more amazing off white subdials have turned a lovely shade of latte!
Watch itself is in great condition with normal wear for an almost 40yo watch (no major dings and crystal is unblemished).
Also fitted with a recently replaced battery so it runs fresh.
All chrono functions work as they should. If you're unfamiliar with the legendary 7A28 & 7A38 (day-date) movement, it was the first analog quartz chronograph of its kind and has amazing features like the use of split seconds (10 o'clock pusher) and a 1/20th subdial at 3. This example has a Roman day wheel for that extra unique detail. Wears well on its original bracelet at 36mm. Microadjusts will allow fitment up to an 8 inch wrist (no extra links).
