Tissot Seastar (1950s? 1960s?)

Up for your consideration is a midsize (approx 31 mm) Tissot Seastar from the late 1950s or early 1960s.

Super clean original dial.

Minor wear on the steel case, but no major dings or dents. Brand new crystal and bezel (they are integrated). The faintest of Tissot logos barely visible on the very shiny polished caseback. Sorry about the fuzzy picture of the side of the case--it has a few normal swirlies.

Movement is a cal 781-1, running strong, keeping good time. No service history. Purchased recently from a local collector.

Brand new unworn black leather strap.

Given the size, this might suit your favourite woman's vintage watch rotation. Christmas is coming; here's your chance.

Offering this at $225 shipped. F2F in Ottawa welcome and the coffee is always on. Your payment by EFT and it will be shipped via tracked ExpressPost to your door.

Thanks for looking and thanks Bobby for the space.

Perfect size watch for your child's first mechanical. Great learning experience: winding, setting, reading analogue dial....

Did I mention dependable?

To the top it goes, thanks for looking.

My wife is eyeing it. Nice crisp watch, looks good on the wrist and you can find out the time just by looking at it. Bump.
