Background
- I love it, but at 33mm it is a might too small for my tastes.
- The Baume & Mercier branded AS 1712/13 runs decently well for an occasional wear but it could do with a service for optimal performance (see timegrapher, a bit slow and lower AMP, beat error).
- Manual wind movement with date. Date changes right at mid night, sounds like a pistol shot.
- Condition issues:
- Missing a central seconds hand (see this model) and a helpful soul told me "The Bestfit book is showing the second hand hole at .22 mm".
- 3 of the 4 lugs have some bend to them and some plating cracking due to bending.
- One set of lugs is ~16mm and the other is ~17mm
- Crown is wrong
- If I had to guess, it could be missing the case retaining screws (movement has provision for them).
- See wear on dial that is hidden by (and likely cause by) the case.
- Bracelet is an amazon cheapie gold tone Milanese mesh with 16mm on one half and 17mm on the other (buyer will the corresponding halves for 2 complete bracelets).
