Hi, all. Parting ways with one of my favourite Omegas.
It is a 1961 Seamaster in excellent vintage condition, as good as you will find anywhere.
Untouched original dial. Raised gold markers and logo. No spots, no fade, minimum patina.
Gold-capped case is 35/36 mm with nice thick lugs. Sea monster engraving is crisp. No wear through, no major dings, just swirlies that will hand polish out if that floats your boat. Genuine Omega crown looks vintage and original.
Clean cal 503 20 jewel automatic movement, recently inspected and running well. My watchmaker saw no need for a service.
Full disclosure. There is a small ding in the side of the crystal between 8 and 9. This is a genuine etched Omega crystal; the ding is small and can only be seen close up, from the side, so I left it as is.
Priced to sell at $795, shipped. Sorry, no trades on this one. EFT or F2F in Ottawa welcome. Plenty of good references, buy with confidence.
