Up for sale is my Rolex Explorer II reference 16570, W serial, 1995. This is a collector's set with full boxes, booklets, tags, original warranty papers. The watch is fitted on its original Oyster 78360 bracelet (clasp code W5) with 501B end links and still has the readable factory green sticker on the case back.
Overall the watch is in great condition and keeps perfect time. Most importantly the watch has never been polished. The lugs are in their original form and all bevelled chamfers are clearly visible.
I purchased this watch from a close friend and can say for certain that it was a one owner watch since 1995, and spent most of its life in a safe. When it was worn, it was primarily used on a leather strap therefore its original Oyster bracelet is in mint condition with no stretch whatsoever.
The dial is in mint condition and its hour markers have started to fade into a nice light creamy color.
I owned this watch a couple of months ago but sold it to a friend on the forum. I’ve since purchased it back, at the exact same price that I’m listing it for sale.
I’m selling it to fund another purchase. This is the most comfortable Rolex I’ve ever owned, and it looks incredible on a jubilee bracelet.
