The best part of WMT watches, in my opinion, is the customizing options. I was able to build my sort of ideal vintage Rolex/Tudor 60s sub, with navy blue dial and bezel. So not a direct homage of any particular watch, but a sort of mash up of some of my favourite styles. Sadly, I have to part with it to make room for something else coming in the door (so no trades, thanks!)
My concern with WMT is all the things I'd read about QC problems. I am happy to report that there are no issues with this watch. The bezel action (friction, bi-directional) is perfect, alignment is spot on, crown is great and the movement is within 5 to 10 seconds a day. Specs are: 39.5mm wide, 47mm lug to lug, 20mm lug width, 14.8mm height (I was a bit put off by that before ordering but honestly, the back of the watch sinks right into the wrist and the domed mineral crystal makes up much of that height). In fact, comparing to a vintage 60s Rolex, this feels ridiculously similar in terms of weight and wrist presence. I didn't go for any of the faux aging, except the lume which comes automatically in a yellowish colour. Only visible wear is a few small marks near the lug holes.
The only issue I had was with the bracelet. You get three size options and I choose regular. On my 7" wrist it was just a bit too tight. So I added an extender, which makes for a perfect fit. Easy to remove if your wrist is less than 7".
