For sale is my 1947, Omega Red Star “Kew Teddington” reference 2271-4, featuring the Omega cal 30T2 PC. As far as I understand, these were intended only for the Brazilian market. This watch is one of the largest wearing vintage Omega’s I’ve owned at 35.5mm across and there is essentially no bezel and so the dial is much larger when compared to my other similar sized Omegas. According to the vintage Brazilian advertisements found online, “The red star which is sometimes featured under the Omega logo identifies the watch as being equipped with the same type of caliber as the one which obtained the best results until that point at the 1940 Kew Teddingon precision completion”. The power reserve is terrific, the watch is keeping fantastic time, and everything operates very smoothly. The watch is entirely original (including the unmarked crown), with the exception of the crystal, which is new. It is almost impossible to find these with the original dial!
