SUPER SPONSOR
Hey folks,
Up today I have a deal for the budding enthusiast who doesn’t want to spend El Primero money but still wants an El Primero, for less than the cost of a Speedmaster!
I was apprehensive about the 45mm sizing initially, however wearing it on wrist all reservations are lost as the watch is a real treat.
Paired with the canvas/sailcloth strap, the watch is light, luxurious and casual all at once.
The flyback function is a step up from a regular El Primero in that the top pusher is used to engage the start/stop function, while the bottom pusher is used to reset the chronograph to 0 and start timing a new event, without having to stop the chronograph.
The purpose of a Flyback is to time intervals appropriately and without losing accuracy or having to stop and restart the chronograph.
The rotating bezel lends to a smaller watch dial and as such, the watch fits amazingly on my 7.5”” wrist pictured.
The dial features the familiar tri coloured sundial layout we have come to love from the brand, with the rotating bezel benefitting the owner with tracking 2 events simultaneously
The watch comes as watch and service box only, running approx +6s a day, your mileage may vary upon usage.
Featuring a date function as well, this watch is an upgrade from the likes of a Daytona, Navitimer or Speedmaster. I’ve owned many versions of the El Primero and they’ve never disappointed .
Of note, there is a small blemish to the AR coating at 10, that can be seen in the closeup pictures, otherwise the watch is in impeccable condition
I’m asking $5299 for this robust timepiece that is a quintessential sports watch with a touch of luxury.
