Up for sale is an Omega Speedmaster Professional, Moonwatch. I am at least the third owner of this now vintage watch. Depending on what source you reference, the serial number puts the date of manufacture of the watch sometime in the late 80s, early 90s, but the former owner and I agree that it is most likely from 1992. I purchased it from a fellow collector in Vancouver in November of 2019, who had purchased the watch a few years prior. I had the watch inspected at Roldorf & Co. in Vancouver, prior to purchase. A photo from the date of inspection is included below. I have not worn the watch much and pamper it when I do. The sought-after tritium lume that has a wonderful patina. To my knowledge, all parts of the watch are original, but as I did not receive any paperwork, nor purchase it from the original owner, I cannot say for sure. The 1479 bracelet fits my 7” wrist perfectly but does not come with any additional links. I will include the BandR Bands Rally Strap with the watch that I bought and had shipped from the US. As you can tell from the photos, the strap is fairly long, as I wear it on the smallest hole.

The watch has been worn, so shows signs of wear. There are light scratches on the outer surfaces of the case, as well as small nicks around the edge of the bezel. There are no major gouges, however. The back of the lugs shows wear from the tabs of the bracelet. The hesalite is in great shape, but is not perfect, which is to be expected from a 30year old watch that has not been a safe queen. It keeps great time, and the tachymetre hand returns to half a second before zero.

Reference #: 3590.50
Calibre: 861
Case diameter: 42 mm
Crystal: Hesalite
Strap: BandR Bands Rally Strap (USA)
Bracelet: 1479 with 812 end links (fits 7" wrist, no extra links)

Serial number: 482XXXXX (dated to 1992)

Pricing for this sought-after model is all over the place these days, so determining the “market price” is very difficult. My starting price is $6,300 not including shipping.

F2F deals in BC’s Okanagan Valley. I'm not interested in trades at this time. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
