1930's Solid 14kt gold IWC wristwatch. Running well.

An estate watch, this piece dates from 1930 to 1938 depending on whether the case or movement serial is used (both provided).

Case - 32mm 14kt gold
Case serial - 982,274
Movement serial - 870,580

Note: I will provide as much information as possible, but my vintage IWC knowledge is limited. There are sure to be collectors on the site whom know more about the piece than I do. Will update with any additional information as it's made available.

Condition - the 14kt gold case is unpolished. Shows signs of its 85 year age as shown in photos. Solid bar between lugs. Movement however is super clean and running exceptionally well. Service history unknown, but given the running condition (and service marks on case back) has been serviced regularly.

Correction.

On the plus side I just bought my first set of watch calipers.

On the flip side, vs my tape measure, my caliper puts this case at an even 30mm vs 32mm above.

Still no offers so price continues to drop.

So, the calipers were new, and I didn't notice the measurement was on the line. Here is a photo and perhaps the initial 32mm case size stands.

Still price reduced to $1337CAD shipped nationally.

Also open to various trade offers. Or offers of any kind. I'm just the intermediary party here, so though I think there is $400+ gold in the watch, plus a functioning IWC 1930's movement, best offer takes it home.

The only info I was given was that listing in the under $1000 section was not of interest.
